MasterCard SecureCode is a security standard developed by MasterCard to provide increased security when using MasterCard credit or debit cards to make purchases via the Internet. After you register for MasterCard SecureCode, the bank will send a MasterCard SecureCode One Time Password and OTP reference via SMS to your registered mobile phone for every online payment. 1. What is Extended Validation Secure Socket Layer (EV SSL)?


Extended Validation Secure Socket Layer (EV SSL) is one of the hi-tech security tools with intensive verification from Certificate Authority that we use to protect our banking system. When you are in the Bualuang iPay system, EV SSL will encrypt your data with the complexity method, assuring that your information is submitted to the bank will safety.


2. How secure is Bualuang iPay?

Bualuang iPay uses the latest versions of EV SSL, making it statistically improbable for any intruders to break into our system. EV SSL's job is to encrypt data with the highest for the level of encryption. The stronger security level of encryption is expressed in bits of algorithm. The bank uses a 2048-bit algorithm, the standard level of encryption available for use in the world's banking industry.

3. What other security tools does the Bank have?

Besides EV SSL and encryption, we have several other security tools to make Bualuang iPay a safe site. We use several firewalls that act as security guards and also use the latest anti-virus software and intrusion detection software.

If you leave your computer screen idle for more than 15 minutes, you will automatically be signed out of our service. This feature reduces the risk and prevents anyone from stealing your information or conducting transactions from your account while you are away from the computer.

To prevent anyone having access to your account, we have designed the system so that your account will be suspended immediately the third time a wrong password is entered.

We also use Norton Secured Certificate (as shown by the Norton Certificate) which means it is virtually impossible for anyone to duplicate our web site and pretend to be us.

If the Bank's security system is working on your computer, your web browser color will change to green and a closed padlock signed will be presented. It means that your data is encrypted with 2048-bit encryption technology. The furthermore about security information, you can click at the closed padlock signed.

5. What can I do to enhance security?

  • Keep your card number and card information to yourself- Do not store your card details in a computer or write them where other people can find them. Make sure no one is watching as you enter these secret codes.
  • Always log off - Log off from Bualuang iPay every time you are away from the computer. Never walk away from your computer until you have completed a banking transaction.
  • Install anti-virus software on your computer and keep updating your virus database
  • Avoid using a shared computer, such as one in an Internet Cafe, because it may not be secure.
