Overseas Claims Service by AIA Regional Support

A supplementary service to take care of your medical expenses as a privilege service offered to Be Together Infinite Health and AIA Infinite Care Rider customers. Customers can get their medical expenses pre-authorized prior to their treatment in hospital under the AIA Healthcare overseas network without advance payment.

The AIA Regional Passport Overseas Claims Service will support you to

  • Access cashless medical services in hospital under the overseas network (except for emergency cases)
  • Plan your medical treatment in advance
  • Have more medical treatment options
Service Procedures
  1. Contact the hospital in the AIA network
    • Search or inquire about the network hospital list from AIA’s Website or Call Center
    • Download form or receive form via e-mail
  2. Send the Pre-Authorization Form (PAF) to AIA
    The Insured is required to
    • Request your doctor to assess and fill the amount of medical expenses in the PAF
    • Make an appointment for the treatment
    • The Insured acknowledges and agrees to comply with the terms and conditions
    • Sign the PAF
  3. AIA considers the request and approves the service based on the eligible benefits and coverage terms of the Insured* (submit the form at least 7 working days prior to the service).
  4. AIA issues the Letter of Guarantee (LOG).
  5. Admission to the hospital
  6. Dischargement from hospital (additional expenses may be incurred after hospitalization**)

*If any incurred medical expenses are beyond the amount of benefits under the Be Together Infinite Health or AIA Infinite Care Rider, such expenses will be the responsibility of the Insured.

**The Insured must pay the medical expenses that exceed the amount as specified in the Letter of Guarantee (LOG) and pre-approved by AIA. In this regard, the Insured can make an additional claim for the exceeding expenses only if such expenses are under the policy's coverage.

Notes
  • “AIA Regional Passport” Overseas Claims Service covers the Insured in case of hospitalization, except for emergency.
  • The Insured can use the “AIA Regional Passport” Overseas Claims Service only at AIA network hospitals. AIA reserves the right to change the hospital list.
  • The Insured has to submit the Pre-Authorization Form (PAF) to AIA before each hospitalization.
  • This service will cover the medical expenses as specified in the Letter of Guarantee (LOG) issued by AIA to the Insured before each hospitalization. Any incurred medical expenses exceeding the amount specified in the LOG will be the responsibility of the Insured.
  • AIA will consider medical expenses coverage of the service based on the benefit table of Be Together Infinite Health and AIA Infinite Care Rider according to the insurance plan of the Insured. All terms and conditions will be in accordance with those specified in the policy. The Insured will have to pay expenses beyond the coverage, if any.
  • AIA Company Limited’s terms and conditions apply on the “AIA Regional Passport” Overseas Claims Service.
