Investment Policy
- The Fund only invests in the investment units of Wellington Asia Technology Fund, USD S Accumulating Unhedged (the Master Fund), Wellington Luxembourg S.à r.l. (the Management Company) has appointed Wellington Management Company LLP to serve as the Fund Manager. The Fund has net exposure in the investment units of the Master Fund, averaged in an accounting year not less than 80% of the NAV.
- The Master Fund has an investment policy primarily investing in the equity securities of technology and technology related companies which were listed or operate in the Asia region and promote investment in sustainability (Environmental, Social and Governance: ESG) which consider a social factor regarding labor force as part of investment process.
- Invest in derivatives, to hedge against foreign exchange risks at the discretion of the Fund Manager, or to increase the efficient portfolio management, and/or structured notes.
- The Fund may invest in investment units of other mutual funds such as CIS funds, infrastructure funds, and Property/REITs funds, that are under the same management, averaged in an accounting year not more than 20% of the NAV. In addition, the invested fund can invest in other funds under the same management company but can only cascade to a maximum of 1 level.
