Investment Policy
- The Fund only invests in the investment units of NEXT FUNDS Nikkei 225 Exchange Traded Fund (the Master Fund) which is an Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE), Japan and invests in Yen. The Fund has net exposure in the investment units of the Master Fund averaged in an accounting year not less than 80% of the NAV.
- The Fund may invest in investment units of other mutual funds under the same management averaged in an accounting year not more than 20% of the NAV.
- The Fund has no currency risk-protection policy for most/all of its value and is not invested in derivatives, and/or structured notes.
Master Fund
NEXT FUNDS Nikkei 225 Exchange Traded Fund (the Master Fund) has an investment policy to invest in the component stocks or stocks that are about to become components of the Nikkei 225 index by managing investment in individual stocks in proportion with stocks in the Nikkei 225. The Master Fund may also purchase derivatives based on the Nikkei 225 index to provide fund performance that corresponds to the Nikkei 225 index. In addition, the Fund is managed by Nomura Asset Management Co., Ltd.
