Investment Policy
- The fund invests solely in the investment units of the Wellington Asia Technology Fund, USD S Accumulating Unhedged (the Master Fund). Wellington Luxembourg S.à r.l. (the Master Fund's management company) has appointed Wellington Management Company LLP as the fund manager. The fund has a net exposure to the units of the Master Fund averaging not less than 80% of the fund's net asset value over the accounting year.
- The proportion of investment in other mutual funds under the same management company averages no more than 20% of the fund's net asset value over the accounting year.
- The fund invests in derivatives to hedge against exchange rate risks at the discretion of the fund manager or to enhance investment management efficiency (EPM) and/or structured notes.
- The fund aims to achieve performance in line with the Master Fund, which seeks to outperform the benchmark index (Active Management).
Master Fund
The Master Fund focuses on investing in equity securities of technology companies and technology-related companies that are registered or operating in the Asia region. It also promotes sustainable investment (Environmental, Social, and Governance: ESG) by incorporating social factors related to labor practices into the investment process.
