Bangkok Bank launches dStatement service to enable customers to receive and send digital statements, helping to save time, reduce expenses and support Thai people to gain easier access to loans

Bangkok Bank has launched the dStatement service to increase convenience for customers in receiving and sending digital statements to replace paper statements which helps save time while reducing expenses. The Bank will start providing this service on January 24, 2022, with confidence that it will help Thai people to have easier access to loans. Meanwhile, the Bank continues its policy of proactively developing its services through digital channels to provide greater experience for customers.
Bangkok Bank Director and Executive Vice President Mr. Thaweelap Rittapirom said that the Bank has launched a digital statement service or dStatement, which is a new alternative to sending and receiving statements. The service will facilitate those who want to apply for a bank loan to request a statement from different banks to be used when applying for a loan. It will be a form of direct digital transmission of information between banks thus helping customers simplify the process as well as save time and money. The service will be available from January 24, 2022, onwards.
“The dStatement service is a new alternative that provides greater convenience to customers as they don’t have to go to the bank branch to request a paper statement to apply for a loan with another bank. The service allows customers to directly submit digital statements between banks, therefore it is faster while reducing hassle and saving time for customers. In addition, customers can also be assured of safety and don't have to worry about loss of documents. Most importantly, the fee for dStatement is cheaper than when requesting traditional paper statements.”
