Notes

(1) Coverage of Critical illnesses early to intermediate stage i.e. Non-Invasive Cancer / Carcinoma in Situ).

(2) Coverage of Severe Stage Critical illnesses under this rider i.e. Invasive Cancer, Acute Heart Attack, Major Stroke, Coma and Chronic Kidney Failure.

(3) In case of death, the Company will pay according to sum assured stated in the policy table or endorsement (if any) to the beneficiary and the policy will become ineffective immediately.

(4) If the policy has not been lapsed or cancelled during the policy year and the Insured or the beneficiary (depending on the details of the case) does not file a clam or receive a claim while the policy is in-force until maturity the Company will pay a 50% benefit of the received final year premium to the Insured or the beneficiary at the maturity date. If the Company has paid no claim benefit to the Insured but the Insured files a claim under benefits (1) and/or (2) and/or (3) afterwards, the Company will pay benefits under (1) and/or (2) and/or (3) less no claim benefit and other liabilities (if any) to the Insured or the beneficiary (depend on case).

(5) The first premium to be waived is the premium due after the Insured is first Diagnosed and/or confirmed by a medical practitioner, during the time when the Insured is alive, that the Insured has any of the critical illnesses according to notes (1) and (2) and policy will remain in effect.



Waiting period for critical illness coverage and hospital daily allowance for inpatient hospitalization due to critical illness

Critical illness coverage and hospital daily allowance for inpatient hospitalization due to critical illness will NOT be applied if illness or disorder confirmed by doctor and with clear evidence that it is related to critical illness under this policy condition that occurs 90 days before the effective date of this contract or latest effective contract renewal date whichever date occurs after.



Some exceptions for critical illness coverage and hospital daily allowance for inpatient hospitalization due to critical illness

  1. Other illnesses that are not included in the critical illness definition in this policy.
  2. Disorders confirmed by doctor and with clear evidence that it is related to critical illness, or critical illness that exists before the effective date of this contract or before contract renewal date whichever occurs after. Except the Insured declares to the Company and the Company accepts the risk without exception of such coverage.
  3. Suicide, self-inflicted injury or an attempt to take such actions.
  4. Inhale, eat, drink, inject or induce poisonous substances into the body while being conscious or mentally ill or not.
  5. The Insured refuses medical treatments, advice or follow doctor’s instructions. Injury, inflicted by the Insured while under the influence of alcohol, addictive substance or drug

  •  Be Together Smart Care is the marketing name of AIA Protect 5 critical illnesses (Non Par)
  • An eligible portion of critical illness premium is tax-deductible up to 25,000 baht, according to the Notification of the Director-General of the Revenue Department on Income Tax (No. 383). When combined with life insurance premiums this must not exceed 100,000 baht in total.
  • Life insurance is not a bank deposit. If you terminate your policy early, you may receive returns less than the paid premiums, subject to the time of policy termination.
  • The applicant is advised to study the details and product information in the sales material before deciding to buy insurance. After receiving the policy, the Insured is advised to study the terms and conditions in the policy contract.
